My name is Peter Maple and I have been helping charities and social enterprises for over 30 years. I do so by carefully assessing their requirements – spending time looking at what needs to be done strategically and then providing a structured solution showing how we can solve the problems that occur in large and small organisations alike.
It’s like having an objective, extra pair of hands at a high level sorting out short and long-term term problems. If my clients are not satisfied with what I do then there is no charge. In addition I teach fundraising, strategic management and social marketing on the postgraduate charity courses at London South Bank University. This work keeps me close to what charities are doing and the problems that they are facing.
I am also currently conducting research into the nature of philanthropy (why people give to charity). You may be interested to read and comment on what people feel is an entertaining and informative blog at The Association of Grumpy Old Fundraisers.
